Anonymous Tip Leads Hamilton Township Police to Arrest

At a recent monthly Board of Directors meeting we voted on a tip that helped solve a crime in Hamilton Township.  The anonymous caller provided tip information on a suspect who was dealing drugs (percosets, roxicodone and marijuana) and selling stolen property.  The property which is usually laptops is received as stolen property from other criminals.  The suspect then resells that same stolen property for a profit.

Generally the suspect would text with his drug customers when selling the above mentioned illegal drugs.  When texting about the illegal drugs the suspect referred to the drugs as a food product because he never used the narcotic name during texting.

The suspect is illegally in the U.S. and would sell the drugs and stolen property from his residence and his employer’s gas station in Hamilton Township.

Along with the Crime Stoppers tip and the police investigation the Hamilton Township detective working the case was able to obtain a search warrant.   The search warrant allowed the detective and members of the Hamilton Township police department to search the gas station and the suspect's residence.  Recovered during the search was $2300.00 cash and a multitude of the above mentioned prescription drugs.

The suspect was incarcerated at the Atlantic County Justice Facility and the bail was set @ $100,000.00 cash.

The Board of Directors voted on a $500.00 reward for the anonymous caller for providing the precise information.
